Tingley's 4th Annual Ice Cream Social
was held Sunday, August 27th

Hoover Angus of Tingley sponsored the homemade ice cream contest
splitting $550 in prize money between the winners.

Winners in the "Anything Goes" ice cream class were:
1st place to Tony Mercer with Maple ice cream
2nd place to John Overholtzer with Black Raspberry ice cream
3rd to Tony Mercer with Apple Crisp ice cream


Brian Wimer, Ann Iannotta, Debbie Shields

Winners in the vanilla class were:
1st place to Debbie Shields
2nd to Ann Iannotta
3rd to Brian Wimer


The Jenny Tull Memorial Pie Contest, sponsored by the Tull Family of Tingley
awarded $500 in prize money to the top-placing contestants.


Janet Wasteney, Gary Wurster, Sue Richards, Melinda Weeda, Cathy McGahuey, and Connie Richards.

In the one-crust pies:
1st place went to Janet Wasteney for her Marshmallow Chocolate Nut Pie
2nd to Gary Wurster for her Coconut Custard Pie
3rd to Sue Richards for her Coconut Custard Pie
4th to Janet Wasteney for her Macaroon Pie

In the two-crust pie class:
1st place went to Connie Richards for her Peach Pie
2nd place to Melinda Weeda for her Cherry Pie
3rd place to Melinda Weeda for her Sugar Free Apple Pie
4th place to Cathy McGahuey for her Strawberry Rhubarb Pie
